DTx – Digital Transformation CoLAB was represented at the IHIET-AI 2024 (IHIET-AI International Conference), which took place on April 26th and 27th at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV), Lausanne (Switzerland), through the participation of Ana Colim, Coordinator of the Technological Innovation and Ergonomics and Psychological Engineering Transfer Group (EEP Transfer Group).
During the event, the coordinator of the EEP Transfer Group assumed the role of chair of the “Human-centered Design II” session, and had the opportunity to present the paper: “I-CATER: Enhancing Worker Efficiency and Reducing Cognitive Workload Through Assistive Assembly: A Proof-of-Concept”, one of the outputs of the project I-CATER: Intelligent robotic Coworker Assistant for industrial Tasks with Ergonomics Rationale.
This project is being developed by DTx CoLAB and Universidade do Minho, funded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT), and aims to drive research in the areas of Ergonomics, Robotics and Computer Vision.
