António Costa Silva, the Minister of Economy and the Sea, was last Friday at DTx CoLAB, as a part of his visit to Campus Azurém of Universidade do Minho, to get to know some of the applied research centers that have played a relevant role in transferring knowledge to the industry.

During the visit to DTx CoLAB, the Minister of Economy and the Sea had the opportunity to learn about and watch brief demonstrations of the Coruja, NeWest, Link4S, and I-Cater projects, in the presence of representatives from other entities, namely the President from Municipio de Guimarães, Dr.Domingos Bragança; the President of Comissão de Coordenação e Desenvolvimento do Norte, Professor António Cunha; the rector of Universidade do Minho, Professor Rui Vieira de Castro, and the President of the Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho, Professor Pedro Arezes.

According to the press release of the Municipio de Guimarães, “The Minister’s visit highlights the central and local government’s commitment to boosting innovation and economic development in Guimarães, promoting strategic partnerships between government, municipal and academic entities”.

This was also an opportunity  for DTx CoLAB to share the collaborative innovation work that is being developed with Associates, namely the R&D solutions that are being implemented with a view to leveraging the digital transformation and competitive value of our business partners.
