Job summary:

DTx is looking for one Bachelor or MSc in Embedded Systems or related fields to join the research team of project “Aero.Next Portugal” (nr. C645727867-00000066), financed by Business Innovation – Innovation Pact, within the call n.º 02/C05-i01/2022 of PRR – Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência. Agenda Mobilizadora Aero.Next focuses on the aeronautical sector, aiming to develop complete aeronautical programs in Portugal. Thus, it offers 3 different products: Manned Regional Light Aircraft with capacity for 19 passengers, 2000 kg of cargo and 2000 km of range; Unmanned aircraft capable of operating maritime surveillance; Advanced Air Mobility Service. It will also present two services: Pro Aero 3D, Production of certifiable components using additive manufacturing; UAS Pilot Training, Armed Forces pilot training program on Class III unmanned platforms.

 

Applicant’s profile:

  • Bachelor or MSc in Industrial Electronics and Computer engineering or related fields;
  • Priority will be given to candidates with solid knowledge in Linux-based Embedded System design in CPU+FPGA platforms, using VHDL and Verilog programming languages;
  • Previous experience in the participation in R&TD Projects;
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and within a team;

The candidate will be integrated in a multidisciplinary research group at DTx that works in close collaboration with academic, R&D and industrial partners.
