Context
DTx is looking for a bachelor’s or master’s degree holder in Law to provide legal support in Public Procurement and Labor Law, applied to the fields of emerging technologies and open innovation (development and commercialization). The role requires knowledge of national and European legal frameworks in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, machine learning, collaborative robotics in the workplace, co-creation, copyright, and intellectual property, among others.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of regulations and ethical standards applicable to emerging technologies and of the challenges they pose to the fundamental rights of individuals and companies, particularly in contexts of research and development, innovation and digital transformation.

 

Applicants’ Profile:

– Pre-Bologna Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Law (mandatory requirement);

– At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in legal roles, preferably in Public Law, Public Procurement, Labor Law, and/or legal support to research, development, and innovation projects;

– Proficiency in Public Procurement and Labor Legislation;

– Knowledge of national and European legal frameworks applicable to emerging technologies, including, among others, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, intellectual property, and copyright;

– Experience or ability in legal analysis within research, development, and innovation contexts, particularly in identifying legal and ethical risks in technological projects;

– Ability to interdisciplinarity work and communicate effectively, facilitating collaboration between legal, technical, and research teams, as well as with external partners.

 

The position will be offered through a fixed-term employment contract, with a duration of 2 years, on a part-time basis.
