Ana Colim, coordinator of the Ergonomics and Engineering Psychology Group at DTx – Digital Transformation CoLAB, recently attended two events in the field of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH).

At the seminar “Work-related musculoskeletal injuries: emerging risks and prevention strategies,” held on October 15 by ACT, through the Ave Local Center, the Minho Business Association, and the company Controlsafe, Ana Colim shared her experience and research contributions to the prevention of this type of injury, which continues to represent one of the greatest challenges in the workplace.

As a guest speaker at the webinar dedicated to smart digital technologies applied to OSH, she addressed the opportunities and challenges that digitization and Industry 5.0 bring to occupational risk management. This event was part of the European Campaign 2023-2025. “Working Safely and Healthily in the Digital Age,” promoted by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA).

DTx continues to monitor trends, investigate, and study the impact of rapid technological change on how we work, communicate, and can contribute to creating safer and more sustainable work environments.
